My sister is an alcoholic and this weekend she had to go into emergency detox treatment. She started binge drinking because of a problem with her boyfriend and then started feeling suicidal thoughts. I am so frustrated with her right now and so incredibly worried about her at the same time. I don't know how to help her. I live several hundred miles away from where she is and I don't know how to reach out to her other than to pray. Last year I confronted her about her drinking during a visit and it did not turn out well. Now she needs serious help and I'm very thankful she's finally getting it...but for some reason I am still incredibly worried about her fragile state of mind and it's just a hard situation all around.
