Life Verse:   "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man.  God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the tempation He will also provide a way of escape, that you will be able to endure it"    (That one has gotten me through a lot)

I was born and raised in Durham, went to high school in Winston-Salem (well, Clemmons!), and college in Wilmington.  I began working as an announcer in radio with the idea that I could move anywhere in the U.S. I wanted and potentially have a job!  I stayed in Wilmington for several years working at a country music station.  Then I found Christ!  Truly found Him…and everything changed!  I’d been raised Christian but didn’t know anything about having an actual relationship with Him, letting him be my Lord, & letting that affect how I lived my life.  Wow!  After that, I knew it was time to leave Wilmington so I headed back home to figure out what was next.  It turns out that it was to stay right here and join the ‘family’ of Christian radio station WRTP-AM.  And here I still am 17 years later!
