MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – BOSTIC, NC JOB DESCRIPTION Requirements The technician performs general and preventative maintenance on equipment. Technicians are responsible for trouble-shooting and servicing mechanical breakdowns. The Technician will perform the following functions on assigned equipment: Cleaning and lubrication Evaluate equipment for loose or worn parts, tighten or replace as needed Perform weekly clean out Perform verification of gauges Identify quality/mechanical problems, mixtures, abnormal noises, or contamination Perform ultrasonic analysis Candidate must follow job and plant safety procedures. They will have various environmental responsibilities consistent with their training as assigned by the Engineering Services Manager. Candidate must have technician experience, good attendance, and good quality/performance history. Successful candidate must have good communication skills and work well with team members. Candidate must have good communication skills and work well with team members. Candidate will perform the above duties alone, in pairs, or as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will also perform other duties as directed by the Engineering Services Manager. Schedule: 1st Shift Monday – Friday 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM Job Type: Temporary Pay: $15.42 per hour
