Description:
Saint Mark United Methodist Child Development Center works hard to build relationships with our families and community. Qualifications:
Duties - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate children - Create and maintain a daily schedule that includes playtime, learning time, and rest time - Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to promote positive behavior management - Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed - Change diapers and assist with toilet training as required - Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise - Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment Requirements - Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or related field preferred - Knowledge of child development principles and practices - Ability to manage a classroom of children effectively - Familiarity with special education techniques is a plus - Current certification in first aid and CPR is a plus - Experience with infant care is highly desirable - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to educate and engage children in age-appropriate activities - Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
